CodeRED® Emergency Notification System
The Lakewood Township Municipal Utilities Authority (LTMUA) uses CodeRED® by Crisis24 to provide fast, reliable emergency and important notifications to customers throughout our service area. CodeRED allows the MUA to send critical information by phone call, text message, and email to residents and businesses affected by water and sewer emergencies, planned maintenance, service interruptions, boil water advisories, hydrant flushing, and other important utility notifications.
Using advanced geographic mapping technology, CodeRED enables the MUA to send notifications only to customers within an affected service area. This allows us to quickly communicate important information to those directly impacted, helping reduce unnecessary notifications while ensuring affected customers receive timely updates.
All Lakewood MUA customers are encouraged to register their contact information to ensure they receive emergency notifications. Registration is free, secure, and confidential. Customers should provide their preferred phone number(s) and email address so they can be contacted quickly whenever an emergency or important utility notification affects their area.
To register, click the link below to create your CodeRED profile and enter your contact information.
Residents who do not have internet access may register by calling Lakewood MUA at (732) 363-4422. Please be prepared to provide your name, physical service address (no P.O. Boxes), city, state, ZIP code, primary phone number, and email address, if available.
If you do not wish to receive CodeRED notifications, you may request to be removed from the notification database by completing a Do Not Call Request Form and returning it to the Lakewood Township Municipal Utilities Authority, 390 New Hampshire Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Please allow adequate time for your request to be processed.
