Technician/ IT Coordinator

The Lakewood Township Municipal Utilities Authority has an immediate opening for the position of Technician/ IT Coordinator. The Lakewood MUA is seeking someone that is highly motivated to fill a well defined position in a water treatment environment. The position will include working in electric, electronics, and computers. All training for this position, which will include learning computer programming in control systems, will be done on the job. The selected person must have a basic understanding of computers, electronics, and electric. The selected person must be willing to learn, think logically, work in a self motivated environment, and be able to follow basic work related instructions. The job will also include, when needed, working in other areas of the water treatment maintenance field. Competitive salary & excellent benefits.

All individuals must have the following requirements:

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Military service or technical school in electronics and/ or computers
- Basic computer knowledge in the windows environment
- Basic knowledge in electric, electronic sensors, and test equipment
- Basic knowledge in computer programming is a plus
- College education in electronics or engineering is a plus but not necessary

Office Administrator

The Lakewood Township Municipal Utilities Authority has an immediate opening for the position of Office Administrator. The Office Administrator will have the following responsibilities:

- Managing the filing and organizing of all Authority administrative paperwork
- Managing customer service dept.
- Managing billing dept.
- Assistant to the Executive Director
